I have got it working ok now.
Size and spacing appears to pass in Google.
Only remaining issues are the strange field that won’t allow me to delete the css but it does display OK because I can change the css, just not delete it and leave a blank space.…and the fact that the lables appear to be clickable, which of course they aren’t, still showing an error in Google.
Another issue that Google is picking up is that the field labels appear clickable on mouse over, I know they aren’t, Google doesn’t and is picking them up as tap targets.
OK this is a weird glitch, I can’t delete any html before field or the css used in the fields page.
I can for instance place a ‘.’ there and that will save but if I try to fully delete anything and leave a blank space, it won’t do it!Only this one field doing this, it has also blocked the bold attribute for that single label in css page, so it renders in normal font?
Ok got this, I wasn’t following your logic of 13 and 32 on the same line but I got it, 22 and 32 made Google happy
BUT
The radio buttons that were a different size, I discovered some css i placed in the field page and it won’t delete!
I have cleared every cache, deactivated my cache plugin, deleted the css at least 30 times, click save, it’s still there!
I even signed in from another browser cleared of history and cookies and same result.Have you seen this before?
Sorry Mike, forgot a screenshot
It isn’t working Mike.
Tried the 32px size, tested it in the google tool, Google is still highlighting the space between the buttons, not the buttons.
Also not all of the radio buttons are not resizing?
some are still 20px, some 32px.That heinous browser Internet Explorer doesn’t show the button resize at all and instead shows some distorted madness.
you can check it at mangocondo.co.th/property/1bed-condo-aspire-rama-9/
I can do the 32 ok, it is the spacing between the buttons that Google is highlighting.
They say “close to other tap targets”
In their guidelines they say: “but should still have spacing between them and other links, so that a 10mm finger pad would not accidentally press both links at once.”That is where I am stuck, the button I can re-size but when I try to set padding or a margin the alignment of button and label is off.
Can you help with what we should do to make this happen?
I have already changed those to 20px, the issue is they are too close together for Google’s guidelines for mobile devices.
Need a way to increase the space between the buttons.I can’t make new forms, I spent a time and money having the existing ones mapped to auto update my CRM.
I have tried to give a padding or margin to the buttons but they don’t match with the attached labels then.Any update on this issue?
This is the warning from Google web master tools:
“Google systems have tested 65 pages from your site and found that 78% of them have critical mobile usability errors. The errors on these 51 pages severely affect how mobile users are able to experience your website. These pages will not be seen as mobile-friendly by Google Search, and will therefore be displayed and ranked appropriately for smartphone users.”And these are the issues highlighted when I test a page in WMT, all from FSCF:
The tap target <input id=”fscf_field2_5_1″ type=”radio” name=”requirement”> and 10 others are close to other tap targets.
The tap target <label for=”fscf_field2_5_1″>Condo</label> and 2 others are close to other tap targets.
The tap target <label for=”fscf_field2_14_1″>Studio</label> and 5 others are close to other tap targets.Should mike not be addressing this in some sort of update?
It is a serious issue if Google are going to penalise sites using the plugin.
That is exactly what they said in their warning in WMT.That didn’t change anything at all.
Sorry where would that CSS go and what else would it affect?
I have more than one widget in the sidebar, I don’t want to knock them all out.
I think Mike needs to address this, if Google have sent me that notification every other user is going to get it as well.
Falls into the category of emergency if the plugin will negatively effect search engine rankings.
Quick contact button or any inner page has the form but it is in responsive that is the issue.
Tried setting css to increase the space between radio buttons but the text won’t stay inline and I only want to edit the css for responsive not desktop view, so I enabled ‘external style sheet’ nothing happens, any changes made in CSS don’t take effect.
I tried editing the responsive CSS but nothing.
Plugin has been updated to the latest version. If google is going to stop displaying sites because of this issue you really need to get on it asap.
No one wants a plugin that removes them from Google!1 entire month and no reply from the plugin author.
Wasted my time building reviews for a plugin that doesn’t work.DON’T DOWNLOAD RUBBISH SOFTWARE!
