nohea, how did you displayed latest posts excerpt on ur homepage ? I mean without using the static plugin.

I wanna do the same as well…:)

Thanks alot devilmaycry…I was having the same problem, and when i checked through one of my recent posts it had the <div> tag..and wasn’t closed properly, i just removed the div tag and its working fine again…

thanks so much spencerp, prompt response but here iam so dumb with yet another issue now ?? lol – don’t get annoyed, the posts are being jumbled up, like since i addedd images the post below the latest post is begining just underneath the meta tags for the above post …

I had two problems, one of them is sorted out because of your suggestion to EternalCow, thanks for that ??

2nd problem :

When i post just text without any images, they are proper, i mean on the main page of my blog they appear properly but as soon as i started to post images with text as well in a post they are acting as if they were posted together, like when the latest post ends the one below it starts from where the meta tags are for the above post.

I hope i am explaining it right.

i now have one more question….:)
I upload them fine and they are going in /wp-content/uploads and categorized date wise.

but when i try to use the image browser plugin it gives me problem saying something like it can’t find the .php file.

i deactivated the plugin and i am just happy that its atleast uploading ??

so this means, that when they are being uploaded properly, all i need now is to correctly link them in my posts in order for the images to display, isn’t it ?

Sorry i am a newbie to all of the blogging scene and thats why i have configured it on my home machine to see how it works before signing up for a hosting service.
