In reply to: [TBTestimonials] [Plugin: TBTestimonials] Reorder Testimonials – not workingI did find a way to change the order, but it is cumbersome. They are ordered by Published Date and Time. Revising the dates and times allows you to change the order of the posts.
It would be nice if the Order Attribute controlled the order of the posts (it does not affect it currently).
Maybe a change for the next release?
Other than that, The only other thing I could think of is to allow creation of new fields (but this would be a very nicety).
Very nice plugin!

In reply to: [Client Status] [Plugin: Client Status] Not enough documentationThis plugin may become very popular. Awesome improvements!!
The only item I can think of at this time was what Knut said:
Even when the status screen says 0 plugins to update for client that was recently “updated”, when I actually enter the site, there is a plugin update available after all. So I guess your status check doesn’t itself trigger WordPress to check for updates. Only a real blog visit does?
But if these client update request also triggered this WordPress mechanism in a way, it would be absolutely perfect.
Great stuff Eric!
It appears to work now. I won’t be able to tell for sure until a little time passes (sometimes for me it was a bit of time before the settings were lost).
Thanks! Thanks Zack! I’ll update to the new version.
I see that the two lines you mentioned above are already commented out?
But the issue of losing the username and password still happen…
This must not have solved the problem.
FYIThe user name and password is definitely being lost. If you could direct me to an error log I could provide, I would be happy to supply it.
When do you anticipate the new version to be released?Same issue here. It may save the initial settings, but they will be lost shortly after that, and must be reentered.
This renders the plugin as not usable…
Really a nice plugin if we can get that working again!
Hi Brian,
I created a CPT in Custom Post Type UI (had to register is manually in functions.php – must be a problem with CPTUI and WP 3.1?) called “mybooks”. All lower case, no spaces, exactly like you see it (obviously no quote marks either).
I then created a Custom Post Template with these settings:
Custom Post Type (comma-deliminated): mybooks
Page Template file name(s) (comma-deliminated): page-mybooks.phpThe Custom Field Template box showed up in my CPT, but with nothing in it.
I then removed page-mybooks.php from the Page Template file, and voila, the fields all appeared.
Any experience with this?
What is the Page Template file name setting used for?
There is very little documentation for CFT…
Thanks!Another update –
I’m using Constant Contact for WordPress together with the plugin Gravity Forms + Constant Contact. When entering a Parameter Name for a Constant Contact field, when I save the form, sometimes it saves it, and sometimes it doesn’t. I find that when I leave the Advanced tab, and then come back into it, the value I put in Parameter Name is no longer there, and it has been replaced by ‘undefined’.
I am going to check on Gravity Forms board to see if it is a bug on their end, but I doubt it because they run some heavy quality control over there.
Maybe a problem with the Gravity Forms + Constant Contact plugin?
I have version 2.0, and it is also forgetting the settings. But ONLY if you enter the user name and password, then leave that screen, then come BACK INTO it again. The settings are then gone, and you have to reenter them.
If you don’t go back into the screen, everything works fine.
FYIThis was an openssl issue. Once I enabled openssl, it worked fine.
I have the same problem.
When entering the Constant Contact Username and Constant Contact Password, it does nothing (still displays the message “This plugin is not configured with a valid Constant Contact account.
Please enter a valid username and password then press the Save Changes button before continuing.”)WP 3.1 and on localhost (XAMPP) for development.
Could this be either a 3.1 issue, or the fact that I am on localhost?
Or just a bug?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Plugin: Custom Field Template] wp-admin/edit.php & custom postYes, I have spent a lot of time trying to get Custom Field Template to work with custom post types, and have not been successful.
This would be a GREAT feature to get working.
