Probably the .it translation is older and has not been updated since new features were added. I don’t speak well enough Italian, so I’m depending on somebody to issue a pull request with an updated translation here: https://github.com/mansj/enable-media-replace

It’s hard to get what you mean, do you mean that the original full-size image is deleted and not replaced with the one you uploaded? Did you change the filename?

@pputzer I agree. I am attempting to find a better way to place the ad, and I apologize for the intrusive placement in the last version.

My guess would be that the original image has different file permissions than the smaller sizes on the server. Please double-check that the www-server has write permissions for the original file.

I hear you. Reverting the change now, and trying to make a “nicer” change in the update.

Sorry. I don’t think it’s possible to submit updates to current versions, so since the testing was done anyway, the affiliate content came in the same update.

This is odd, but it sounds like the file permissions on the folder you are uploading to are wrong.

My plugin does re-generate thumbnails and other images, as long as those sizes are defined in the theme. However, if you upload an image with different proportions than the original, new thumbs will be different sizes and the old ones won’t be replaced.

This does sound like you have a browser cache not cleared. Unless you are uploading a different size than the original, and the thumbnails are generated other sizes.

Hard to say. It depends on the order of things. I am using the functions to generate images that are core WP, so if other plugins follow those same rules, it should work.

Is the image you are attempting to upload to replace the older image the exact same dimensions? Otherwise, because of the way WP handles image resizes, it’s possible that 300×169 would not be the new thumbnail size, and therefore it would not be replaced.

I’m sorry, but this is a completely useless review. The plugin has literally hundreds of thousands of happy users. If you have encountered a probem with the plugin, you could have started a support thread in the forum instead.
