In reply to: [Plugin: WP to Twitter] error posting statusNew version of WP To Twitter out now. I think this version will fix the problems:
Changelog
2.1.1
* Added a control to disable error messages.
* Separated URL shortener errors from Twitter API errors.
* Added stored value with the error message from Bit.ly to try and identify source of errors.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Plugin: WP to Twitter] error posting statusSame problem here. I get the “error posting status” every time I post. And it’s a false alarm, because the article is posted fine on Twitter, despite the error message. It’ very disturbing to have a red error message at the top of your WP Admin Panel all the time.
I’m using latest version of WP To Twitter and WP 2.9.2.I tried Twitterfeed.com but it was pretty useless. It could only check every half hour and post max 5 post at a time. And it also posted BOTH title and the beginning of the article text.
With WP To Twitter you can select only the title AND it gets posted on Twitter right after it’s published. Not half an hour later.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Plugin: WP to Twitter] doesn’t catch posts going from pending to publishedThanks a lot! I had this problem too in WP 2.9.2 and the above code solved it for me. Must be fixed for the next version of WP To Twitter.

In reply to: [Plugin: DISQUS Comment System] disqus not compatible with wordpress 2.8?I have the same problem with WordPress 2.9.2 and Disqus Comment System Plugin Version 2.33.8752. The import of my WordPress comments worked fine, but they don’t show up on my blog. Only if I disable the Disqus plugin. But the comments seem to be stored on my Disqus account.
I was planning to switch to Disqus on my blog, but I’m not so sure about it now, if all the old comments disappear.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP to Twitter] error posting statusSame problem here. Using bit.ly URL shortener. The error messages started to appear after upgrading WP To Twitter to version 2.x. I’m using 2.0.1 now.
I never had that problem before upgrading. Now it appears randomly. But the posts seem to be tweeted despite of the error messages.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: WordPress.com Stats buggered since upgrading to 2.9Plugin works perfectly fine for me now, on both my blogs, after the 1.6.1 update.

In reply to: WordPress.com Stats buggered since upgrading to 2.9I was a bit too fast with my latest comment.
The stats are working on my second blog too, I saw today.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: WordPress.com Stats buggered since upgrading to 2.9It worked only on one of my blogs. I run WP 2.9.1 on both of them, but different themes. So maybe it’s an issue with poorly written themes?
The one that worked (but still not with v1.6 of the plugin) uses “The Gazette Edition” theme from Woothemes.

In reply to: WordPress.com Stats buggered since upgrading to 2.9I read they had made some API changes in version 1.5.4 of the plugin, so I uninstalled version 1.6 and installed the older 1.5.3, and now I can see my hits in the stats graph from the admin panel.
So it seems the hits are counted, just not displayed. This will be my solution until an updated version is released.
Version 1.5.3 can be downloaded here:

In reply to: WordPress.com Stats buggered since upgrading to 2.9Same problem here. Getting 0 hits. Upgrading to WP 2.9.1 didn’t help.
The smiley GIF image appears in the footer in Internet Explorer (not in Firefox) but still no hits.
