I am using the sela theme. i would like to eliminate the big white box on the homepage section. I hae no coding experience, and would be uncomfortable attempting such changes. Any ideas?

Also, within the homepage section and on my blogs, the social icons are vertical. Any way to make them horizntal so the blogs do not seem so long, especially on mobile devices?
