In reply to: [Yoast SEO] XML sitemap not working with Yoast pluginHello everyone,
I am facing bit different issue. I have been advised below for one of our public facing website.
*****************************************************************************
XML sitemap priority & change frequency.Each node requires additional properties for example on https://employsure.co.nz/post-sitemap.xml
<url>
<loc>https://employsure.co.nz/blog/</loc>
<lastmod>{date last modifiyed}</lastmod>
<changefreq>{ How frequently the page is likely to change}</changefreq>
<priority>{ priority score for the page 0.1 to 1.0 }</priority>
</url>****************************************************************************
What I have understood from above is that – my structure of XML Sitemap should look like https://employsure.com.au/post-sitemap.xml
But currently it looks like https://employsure.co.nz/post-sitemap.xml (Prio, Ch. Freq. is missing)
Can someone please advice? I want to add Prio and Ch. Freq. at https://employsure.co.nz/post-sitemap.xml
Regards
Shweta MuktaHi Gilzow,
Thanks for getting back to me. I am very busy in other projects now. I could not get time to look into it again. Hope your solution should work for me. I will work on this as soon as I am free from the priority works :). Let me know if you have any video online which can help me to understand the plugin and usage ??
