In reply to: [Salon Booking System] Email confirmationThe only thing I could do was add a comment at the top of the checkout page that says “Summary – Remember to hit finalise to confirm”.
it doesnt get everyone, but at least it says it and captures a few!To do this I had installed a plugin called yellow pencil and then I just go through to make a dummy booking on the website (while logged in to wpress) and then it allows you to edit the text with ease live on screen.
What it really needs is a fundemental change like putting the button at the top, but I cannot do this.
I discovered it only happens for customers using mobile phones to book as its a long way to scroll down hence they miss the button.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Salon Booking System] Email confirmationAn email is automatically sent
is the booking on the system? The reason I ask is that we have recently found a few customers get to the final confirmation page and fail to hit the finalise button as its so far down the page on their phone.
The first we hear of this is when they turn up as its not logged on the diary.(we dont take any money to make the booking)

In reply to: [Salon Booking System] VERY SERIOUS ISSUEJust a quick update – I have rolled back to WordPress 5.5.3 and the issues dont appear in Salon. Use another plugin called “WP downgrade” and it does it for you rather than having to do manually.
I would await an update to Salon before installing latest WP version.

In reply to: [Salon Booking System] Can’t create a new booking with existing customerwhile you are fixing that issue…on todays update we can no longer add a booking from the backend!
when we create a booking on the back end it will save and then it just comes up in grey and with an error on the calendar. When you go back in to the booking it is defaulted to a differnt name and email with details that we use for dummy bookings.
Also, it is now asking for an email address as mandatory, which it never did before and is not required.
Going to have to roll back to old version until its fixed!

In reply to: [Salon Booking System] Version: 3.44.5 – now cannot add bookings!Yep. just installed v 44.6 and this is fixed Thanks.

In reply to: [Salon Booking System] Version: 3.44.5 – now cannot add bookings!as described above.
Go to the salon calendar within wordpress wp-admin/admin.php?page=salon
Select a time within the day displayed – choose “ad book”, then add customer details in the open window to create the booking.
cannot edit or click in to the firstname, lastname, phone or email
the service works fine and we can add in message etc from thereon in

In reply to: [Salon Booking System] google calendar only one way syncNo we did not, and havent received any response or support.
The only workaround is by using the salon link within the google calendar entry to then go and edit the booking – it would be fantastic if we could just drag and drop!
Being that the backend is not great for managing bookings we are looking for something else, and just managing with Salon until we have time to find a solution.

In reply to: [Salon Booking System] my client cannot make the checkoutI found the possible cause.
If i sent the customer a link to the booking form it just went to a white screen after personal details.
if i direct the customer to my home page that has a button in there to go to the booking form then it works fine.
No idea why!

In reply to: [Elixar] Cannot add header imageHello,
As we checked your header image working well.
Nope that wasnt working well- I had initillay use CSS to bypass with a differnt font to get something working.
SELF RESOLVED
I found out that the issue was due to “Enhanced Media Library” plugin that i use. Once this was deactivated I was able to add my header image and later reactive this.
Now all I have to do is find a way to make the image a bit bigger!
