somehow the plugin sent too many requests to MailChimp. They fixed it with an update so there should be no problem if you are using the latest version.

we now have the premium version of the MailChimp for WordPress plugin and I sent in a support email. They are investigating the problem. Seems like it is some plugin issue if we are not the only ones having that problem.

I hope they fix it fast. Our users get tons of optin confirmation emails too.

I did some research and I think that this problem maybe occurs because the User Sync plugin sends to many requests per email address to the server if there are a lot of update_user_meta() statements in the user creation code.

Is this possible? And if so can I turn the auto-sync off and install a time based sync instead (e.g. every 5 minutes). Some kind of command to use in a cronjob would be sufficient.

the issue occurs on the original (non migrated) website. I just noticed it, after I migrated the website because those pictures weren’t moved to the new page because they are not in the folder.

thanks for the info. I thought that it will only update if I change something directly in the backend GUI. But it seems to work even after I update user data via a cronjob. That will solve our DB issues. Thanks a lot.
