In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] how to change user nameHi @mbrsolution
It’s kind of strange, I was able to change the username in my earlier installation, but not in this new installation.
Does there something I miss…
Thanks

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] how to change user nameHi @mbrsolution
I could Add New User without any problem, and change the Display Name.
But no username can be changed after click “edit user”, you will see “Usernames cannot be changed” in the user profile page.
Thanks

I had tried to uncheck Rename Login Page, but still got “Usernames cannot be changed.”
My site is built using Bitnami service, they moved .htaccess file to /conf/htaccess.conf file, will that be the problem?
Thanks

Thanks
Hi @mbrsolution
Below is the reply from Bitnami, is there a way for your plugin to write to htaccess.conf file optionally?
============
By default, we disable .htaccess files, move the configuration in those files to the main application configuration files and set the AllowOverride option to None. Note the Apache Software Foundation also recommends this configuration.You will need to include the required configuration to the /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/conf/htaccess.conf file instead under the /opt/bitnam/apps/wordpress/htdocs directory. You will need to add the lines below at the end of the htaccess.conf file and replace the placeholder with your actual configuration for the plugin.
<Directory “/opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs”>
[YOUR_PLUGIN_CONFIG_HERE]
</Directory>
Remember to restart Apache service for changes to take effectsudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart apache
Also, you can get more information about our .htaccess file configuration in the link belowhttps://docs.bitnami.com/google/infrastructure/lamp/administration/use-htaccess/
Hi @mbrsolution
Tried to add my ip address to the blacklist setting, but got
“You cannot ban your own IP address: xxxxxxx”
So I added my ip address directly into .htaccess “Deny from”,
but still can access from a browser where I am not logged in.Does it mean apache directives is not working, how should I resolve from this point?
Thanks
SamFinally, got some data on https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/
