one more question. There is a gap between the bottom of the header and the top of the gallery. where is the parameter for that? or how do I make it go away?

is the 68.9% set in the style.css?

Thank you. I follow you completely. But one question, if you found the content section is set to 68.9% couldn’t we just go to that line in the css and change it to 1000%. Just a thought

I just put in the css code you posted but no change to position of gallery. I think the left area is for the the main sidebar. I chose “content on right” for my default layout in theme options

Sorry for the delay. I had to got to a new location with web access. I’m traveling. I wasn’t worried that you were doing anything intrusive. Is there a place in the dashboard that shows assigned page ids? I really appreciate all your help. I thought I understood site topography pretty well but this CMS environment is new to me.
