    Hey Tim,

Thank you so much for your quick reply! I have that turned on…when I go into the individual posts settings I also see that comments are turned on under the discussion post too. Would this be a genesis problem? Like I said, the only thing that has changed was 1 plug in (I went from WP recipe maker to create by media vine…I switched which was off and which was on to see if that effected my comments but it didn’t seem to mess with anything.)

    Blessings,
    Meghan

I wrote underneath the two images what I see with classic and gutenberg activated. I also screenshot what it looks like when I have classic editor activated and go to the writing setting. I think you mean have the ‘classic’ on and not the ‘block’ option?

I know my blog isn’t the latest or greatest, but it’s very frustrating and makes me wish I had never paid to self hose this site since I can’t do edit it the simple way I was before

I’m not sure what is going on, but I don’t see the ‘blocks’ option when I have gutenberg activated and I downloaded the classic editor and it doesn’t look the same as the link I provided above either. I see add media, form, contact form, then how to bold something (but it only shows it with the code not actually bolding), italics, link, b-quote, /del, ins, img, ul, etc etc. When I put it in troubleshoot mode it shows no text editing options so I obviously have no idea what I’m doing or how to simply edit my text size, color, etc like I could before
