I have this problem too using chrome — even with no plugins except the classic editor installed. The fix for me is to make sure that the setting in the classic editor is to allow the user to choose which editor to use. When I set it up that way, the flickering stops.

Not good if you don’t want the user to be able to choose, of course.

I am having the same problem. Thousands of lines in the wp-options table. I sure hope that this gets fixed!

Yes – they are two installs – the site and the blog are separate installs.

However, we want to merge the stats so that they are considered one site for the stats purpose.

The blog install has existed for several years – so we just want the new site install to be added to the blog stats.
