Update:

I’ve REMOVED ALL PLUGINS related to the Media Library and do NOT have Jetpack Photon activated and still this problem persists.

Now, today, I am unable to use the workaround I described above.

Seriously, any ideas anyone?

Of course, this person didn’t pay attention to the directions and is typical not to offer an apology.

Of course, I now have a deadline for a project, so no time to wait around and hope for an answer.

Fortunately, only a few of My posts needed to be fixed, so I actually hotlink-uploaded the images in order to get them to show up in the Media Gallery and as Featured Images.

I hope that My suggestion helps others and that this issue is fixed soon.

Aha! I think that may be the issue! Did I miss this info in the description? If not, it may be a good idea tell folks like Me who had no clue!

Also checked posts in different browsers and on multiple devices with the same MISSING Featured Image issues.

It’s NOT a STYLES PLUGIN issue! At least, not for Me.

I had a glass of wine this time and again deactivated plugins to determine the culprit.

It turned out that the Piklist and WordPress Helpers plugins were the problem after all. Hope this helps!

P.S.: I deactivated several plugins to see if there was suddenly a conflict and this did not resolve the issue.

My settings were correct; the problem began when WordPress updated to 4.2 and the emails were missing the link.

I hope My info allows you to fix the problem. I have moved on to another solution in the meantime.

I will keep an eye on the plugin issues to see if you resolve them.

In My initial query, I mentioned that:

“I checked all of My plugin settings and just tested this process again and the problem persists.”

Upon further review:

After WordPress updated to 4.2, the confirmation link disappeared from the emails. Prior to this update, everything worked fine – My settings were properly configured.

I hope that helps.

The reason I chose to use this plugin is for the CAPTCHA code and still prefer it to the plugin I’m currently using from frustration with this issue.

None of the suggested solutions, which I tried before I posted here, apply to/fix this problem – and the GoDaddy issue also does not apply (checked with My hosting service).

I appreciate your assistance. I may attempt to reinstall the plugin, but since I’ve spent so much time not finding a solution, I am leaning towards using a different one.

This is what the plugin is supposed to do to add an auto-response to CONFIRM SUBSCRIPTION:

For the 3rd time: THERE IS NO LINK TO CLICK TO CONFIRM SUBSCRIPTION TO MY LIST IN THE AUTO-RESPONDER EMAIL (“Confirmation Email”) that subscribers receive after filling out My form. Therefore, subscribers are NOT able to subscribe to My list. The confirmation email, as I stated above, reads:

“Click the link below and you’re all set to go! If you’ve changed your mind, ignore this email. “

And there is NO LINK or anything else in the email.

I made no mention of integration with any other service because I am not using that feature. Since this plugin was working prior to the WordPress update that I mentioned above, I see no logic in having to now set up some kind of integration with a service I do not wish to use.
