In reply to: Creating Lists in a WordPress Page?krembo99, no I didn’t actually try to run it.
But man, it’s actually very simple to add a list to a Page in WordPress. I created the table in Excel, then copy/paste’d it to the page and it formatted just fine (with the alternating row colors and everything). I’m not sure, but my adding of Advanced TinyMCE, which supports tables, might have helped.
Thanks for your support.

This actually comes very close to what I need. But, it doesn’t support 2.5+!!!!

In reply to: Creating Lists in a WordPress Page?krembo99, it would be nice if you could maybe click on the headings of columns to change the sorting criteria, or maybe view items that have certain value, etc…These are very nice luxuries that I could live without, though…

In reply to: Anyway to gain more control over RSS feed?Dgold, thanks for your replies. I use a mailing list service provider and the proprietary software they use cannot be customized. That’s why it’s more feasible to look into gaining control over the RSS feed of WordPress.
I guess what I’ll do is turn off the emailer when I’m editing posts, and turn it back on when I’m done…
Thanks,

In reply to: For some reason, can’t customize the “Read More”That did it.
I didn’t know that WordPress looks at home.php first and then index.php. I changed the_content in home.php and it worked.
Thanks Michael.

In reply to: For some reason, can’t customize the “Read More”Here is the source code from Firefox
<a href="https://dubaiemploymenttips.com/301/dubai-headhunters/#more-301" class="more-link">Read more</a>
But here’s what I have in my index.php
<?php the_content('<span style="font-weight:bold;">Read this now...</span>'); ?>
You see, WordPress isn’t reflecting the changes I make on the theme. It’s weird. Would you know what might cause this to happen?
