In reply to: [Better Find and Replace] Misleading description – Find and replace URLsThank you. I can’t do dry run? Sorry I don’t trust the plugin with a large site wide operation if I can’t see what it will do.
I could test on a local WP install I suppose.
Suggestion: If you simply put “URL replacement (for dry run, upgrade to pro)” it would give a hint of the capability.
Appreciate your time.
the answer in part is No, not with WPUM. You’d have to use a third party plugin like Wp User Sync.
I am still hoping however that the WPUM will let me know if there will be any solution to the syncing of user profile pics. This does not sync across multiple sites unless the user is signed up for Gravatar. So there’s still a gap here in functionality.
it’s now been 5 weeks with no response to what seems a simple question.
I have actually been using WP User Sync plugin with some success however I want to ask the developers of WPUM if this functionality was on their road map.
Update – it’s possible to skip this screen but it wasn’t obvious to me at first. So I still think the UI / UX is lacking. I’ll continue testing.
Thank you. I don’t have time to re-test but I will consider this in the future. Appreciate your time.

In reply to: [Backup Migration] Security risk warning from web hostThank you. I am no longer concerned. Whether your app or my host removes it (as they claim to do in that message) I trust it’s a normal part of the process.
You can mark resolved.

In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] Version 4.4.4 broke my Stripe ticket salesThanks again for all the follow up.
Yes I tried rolling back to PHP 7.4 and it works with that, both on my test site and on my tickets site.
That’s unfortunate that the plugin doesn’t seem compatible with PHP 8.
Appreciate your time! Thanks for making such a great plugin and supporting it so well ??
And yes you can close this at this time. Cheers.

In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] Version 4.4.4 broke my Stripe ticket salesHi
Yes as I mentioned I rolled back to have it work. ??
You’ve asked for a lot of stuff. I’ll report the following:
WordPress Version 6.0.1
Server architecture Linux 2.6.32-954.3.5.lve1.4.87.el6.x86_64 x86_64
Web server LiteSpeed
PHP version 8.0.22 (Supports 64bit values)PHP memory limit is 1024M (Seems like lots)
PHP max input variables 2000
PHP time limit 1500By the way I did a fresh WP install with no plugins – only Events Calendar and Events Tickets – only using newest WP and still failed using Version 5.4.4 of your tickets plugin. Same error.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with my hosting. I run many sites and it is reliable.
Thank you.

In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] Version 4.4.4 broke my Stripe ticket salesHi there.
Yes I tried that it still doesn’t work. So I have rolled back.
I switched to Twenty Twenty theme and disabled all plugins except Events Calendar and tickets plugins and the payment is still broken.
It says this ” <p>There has been a critical error on this website.</p><p>Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.</p>
Normally critical errors imply complete broken site, but all I see is the warning text above the cart section.
Any ideas?
Thank you.
Actually I have determined the error is mine but I have a suggestion. In the custom fields area, if you click profile picture and validation area it suggests “Comma Separated List of allowed file types, (i.e. jpg, gif, png, pdf)” – so that’s what I typed in the field.
Excluding “jpeg” obviously is a mistake. Perhaps you guys can adjust this field to show “jpeg / jpg” so nobody else makes this error?
Out of my 100 or so users at least 15 or more seem to have had no ability to use “jpeg” because of this. So no profile pic displays for them. It’s unfortunate that happened.
Thank you for your assistance.
Hi Ronnie. I gave up on using Sensei but started using Lifter LMS with WordPress. It’s not perfect but it’s mostly trouble free.
My feedback would be to identify the 5-6 things that Lifter and LearnDash do well and build these kinds of things into Sensei.
Thank you.
Thanks for the reply. I am satisfied with this for the moment, as Lifter is otherwise an amazing tool. Very appreciative of everything the free version can do.
In the future Lifter should work on this. It’s a feature that LearnDash has had in place for a while – it’s a similar concept to a blog post displaying category in the url.
All the best, and thank you Lifter LMS.
Thanks kindly that works for me. Appreciate the support.
Please answer this. It would be great to find out if one can disable only the registration email.
The answer is yes, if I do not use the third party admin approval then only one copy of the “thanks for registering” email is sent.
It so happens that this double email is sent when also using two other important tools: WP Mail SMTP and Microsoft 365 email. The duplicate appears not to be sent when only using WordPress mail function.
Obviously there is a conflict and the solution is to buy the manual approval / verification from WPUM. But I can’t pay $149 USD / year for the starter. It’s too expensive.
Thank you.
