It was a variations detail plugin. Sorry for the bother.

@etiennep Here is the new thread with the system report posted.

@serafinnyc Thanks Stef, but did you even read the original post? Apple Pay works fine as long as I put the browser (on macos and ios) in private mode or disable the check for Apple Pay in Safari (also in macos and ios). Stripe is set up correctly and all is live.

Here is the Systemreport for Plugin Support:

I guess you get this a little bit wrong as well. If you have to enable this setting, you can count on that every customer of yours has to enable the setting as well. So this is a bug for sure. And its the same source of error. But will start a new thread

Funny, because for me its the opposite. If I disable the check the ability to let the websites check for apple wallets, the Apple Pay Button actually displays.

Hi, I have the same problem. Apple Pay only inserted when in private Browser mode or in Safari->Settings->Privacy: “Allow websites to check for Apple Pay and Apple Card” is unchecked.

I have set up my Apple Wallet both in macos and in ios and am able to pay with apple pay.

Somehow, Woocommerce does not check for Apple Pay and Apple Card properly.

Firewall disabling does not work. The aiowps plugin has to be disabled completely while updating lets encrypt certificates.

This is bad because most hosting panels allow autoupdating of letsencrypt and the intervals are very short, like 1-2months.

So if using AIOWPS, you for sure run into a update mess every 1-2 months if hosting large amounts of customers.

I would reccomend implementing a checkbox “If you use Lets encrypt, check this box” like you did with the Jetpack situation where the xml-rpc rule blocked the functionality.

I do not know the exact api but a file in public_html/.well-known/acme-challenge/ must be accessible (readable) with curl from inside the server out and from outside as well.

    (@mruepp)

However, the Jetpack Problem is solved by disabling the xmlrpc block in the All in One Firewall, and add the $_SERVER 443 Directive into WP config like described here:
    https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/known-issues/

    Sorry for the hassle.

    (@mruepp)

So I guess there are two problems:

1.) When Jetpack tests for ssl validity, it does not use the “servername” option to recognize SNI compatible certificates:

    openssl s_client -servername virtualdomain.com -connect virtualdomain.com:443

    2. The Virtualmin Apache Configuration lacks to include the SSLCertificateChainFile in every vhost directive.
