This is the line that stops it all:

File exists (/home/dh_kf52pj/jkdiscs.com/wp-content/updraft/backup_2021-10-09-2309_JK_Discs_25776d0cd6a7-uploads3.zip.tmp), but was apparently not modified within the last 30 seconds, so we assume that any previous run has now terminated (time_mod=1633843295, time_now=1633843471, diff=176) (Oct 09 23:24:31)

It has nothing to do with the disk being full, nor am I complaining about temporary files.

The backup is stopping because it is assuming it is complete, when it is not. Rolling back to the previous version of UpdraftPlus solves the problem. There appears to be a bug in this version.

I realize the temporary files will be deleted, BUT, this was stopping the backup from happening.

I rolled back to version 1.16.61, and today I was able to get it to successfully complete a backup.

Do you have any more detail on what the “server issue” was? I’m experiencing the same problem, different hosting provider, and they figure it is on my end.

We are having the same problem. The challenge is when the customer clicks the place order, the order goes through on the back end, but after a bit of a wait while the cursor is spinning, the customer is taken back to the check out screen. And then they click Place Order again, thus resulting in a second order. (not a duplicate – the products are the same, but they customer has actually put in a second order)

Seemed to happen after the 5.4.1 update, but reverting back to 5.4.0 has not fixed the problem.

We do a number of variations, but again, I keep it simple. With Woocommerce as the SOR… To give you some background, we sell disc golf discs. So for each disc we have multiple weights, like 164-166g, 167-169g, 170-172g, 173-174g, etc.

I create one “Attribute” for each product and I actually call it “Attribute”. And then I create variations for that Attribute with weights, those variations look like 166-166g | 167-169g | 170-172g

and so on.

I have to create a unique SKU for each variation.

But this syncs perfectly back to Square, tracks inventory, and when we sell through either Square or Woocommerce, it all updates properly.

Now it would be cool to have multiple attributes, like colours and weights, but not only does that not sync correctly, it’s a nightmare to manage the inventory!;)

For what it’s worth, we use Woocommerce as SOR, even though at this point most of our transactions are with Square, and it works great. We keep it simple though, we only have about 400 products and they only have one “Attribute”. We just found it more reliable and simple to keep our products updated in Woocommerce. But when we take the shop on the road, which happens most weekends, it’s way easier to use Square POS to do the transactions.

Gotta say, it works great. The only weird thing is whenever we add more products in Woocommerce, we then have to go into Square and make sure it’s automatically adding the tax, but at least Square has a “Tax all items” option, so it’s not a big deal.

I did find one external/affiliate product. It was intended as a pre-release, and apparently I forgot to turn it back into a simple product. I’ve set it back, and will test sync.

Thank you! We do not have any external or affiliate products. Although perhaps it is possible I fat-fingered a product entry and selected external or affiliate. Is there a way I could search to find which products have been set that way?

The only plug-ins I use that would affect/create/control External/Affiliate products would possibly be Square. We try to run as lean as as possible with minimal plug-ins.
