well, I had deleted the ENTIRE site out of my hosting, put it back, set up a new database installed wp and guess what … my first post that I set to 1/1 now today says 2/24

and guess what, that is todays date … WTF

any thoughts on this would be nice

in the mean time, I guess the other solution is not to pre date posts which is not a solution that makes me happy

never mind, redoing the blog from scratch … I looked at the php admin table for posts and the posts that kept reverting were in that section MANY MANY times

it all looked wrong to me and the only fix I saw was to start from scratch

it happened again today with my two earliest posts … so weird and annoying

it reverted back to todays date again today

i keep setting back to 1/1/13 and later on when I look it’s back on the present day as just published

driving me crazy

I try to keep my plugins to a minimum. (so tough to do LOL) A lot of people have used that plugin with success, but I do not, so I can not answer you on that.

I optimize my images to be as small as possible on file size and use htaccess file that speeds things up.

Just enabling gzip compression should be good enough to speed up your site.

thank you very much for your kind words. I use the Weaver II theme on every blog I make, you can do sooooo much with it and it always passes the “load fast” test.

Plus as you say, I think it always looks clean which I also like a lot.

I have bought “premium” themes that don’t even come close to doing what Weaver II does. I can’t say enough good things about this theme.

i have two different sites with this theme, one works on the responsinator.com and one does not, EXACT same theme plugins etc, not sure what is going on here
