In reply to: Browser resizing moves header imageYou really are a programming ninja!
It’s working perfectly….I’d not saved it in the “site-wrap”
Thank you very much indeed.

In reply to: Browser resizing moves header imageHi Mr Ninja,
I’ve made those changes. Have a look…it’s still not quite what I’m trying to do. https://www.smartgreen.org.uk
I’d like to make the twitter icon sit permanently in the pale grey area of the header right above the ‘1234’ of the telephone number, so that no matter what the browser size, it’s always in that same position.
Any ideas?
Cheers

In reply to: Adding Image to Smallbiz Menu BarHave a look at it now – perfect!
Took about 10 seconds to do it and I’d been messing about with it for days.
Many thanks Mr Flash!

In reply to: Adding Image to Smallbiz Menu BarNice work with the image!
It’s #2 above that I’m trying to do. I want my menu bar to grade from white to pale grey vertically – something like this: https://www.toshiba.eu
I’m rubbish with code so thought I’d juat swap the flat white colour for an image. Any other (easier!) options warmly welcome.
Thanks again.

In reply to: Help! I've lost the generic domain nameThanks
WordPress is installed fine (well, that’s what it told me!). It’s from here on that I have the problem. If I type the following into my browser:
https://mydomainname.com/wp-admin
all that happens is the homepage of the company I bought the domain name from opens up.
I’m totally stuck now as to what to do. Is there some login area that I’m missing? Or do I need to buy some hosting before I can login?
Thanks all

In reply to: Help! I've lost the generic domain nameThanks Clayton,
What I mean is that I’ve successfully downloaded Version 3.2.2.
I’ve then typed the following into my browser:
https://mydomainname.com/wp-admin
…but all that happens is the homepage of the company I bought the domain name from opens up. How do I make my WordPress Admin page open up instead?
Sorry for being so dim.

In reply to: Help! I've lost the generic domain nameThanks Clayton – If I follow your instructions above, all I get is the home page of the business that I originally bought the domain name from – There’s no log-in page.
During installation, I didn’t submit my own domain name at any point, so I don’t think my WordPress account knows what my own domain name is. Help!
