Followup: My host provider tells me the open database recuests caused by Jetpack is back, even if there is no contact form active on the page at the moment.

A listing of some of the requests are sendt via the form. Thanks ??

Additional info on the issue: Looks like the database request error is related to the Jetpack contact form function. Tested active plugin but no contact form on any page/post, and the installation works fine. After inserting Jetpack contact form om a page, response Database Error is back.

Comment: Due to government regulations in Norway on how to design websites, the Hueman theme excerpt font color is not legal to use by default. Because of too low contrast. Regulations say that the contrast between font/background should be at least 70%. Regulations are there to make websites more readable for people with reduced eye vision. Most likely similar regulations will be implemented in all of Europe in av few years. Other EU-countries might already have these regulations.

Hi – evryting is updated to latest versions. The issue is now resolved. The problem vas browser caching. Sorry for not testing this before posting here…

Thanks, that did the trick for me! The problem was browser caching. I′m sorry I didn′t test this before posting here. Hopefully, this conversation will help other with similar issues.

You select “No, hide widget” in settings panel next to “Show floating translation widget?”. Hit Save changes.

Thanks @bdbrown – worked. My last issue now regarding background image (colored left bar) is that I am not able to define the main content area transparent. In mobile view the main content area block out the cyan left bar. I have tested this in my CSS to force transparency:
.main { background-color: transparent!important; position: relative; }
Note: If I use a hex color value, for examle #000000 the custom CSS works, but not if I use definition “transparent”.

@jeremy – thanks for your follow up on this matter. Do you think the next update will fix the issue with the annoying and misleading update reminder? So the “updated version 3.9.7” will be updated and showing correct version number? I don′t want to waste time deleting via FTP and reinstall if I don′t have to…

The current Jetpack version is 3.9.7 – same as “available”. Running latest WP 4.5.2. No warnings or error message when clicking “Update”. Responds as if update is ok, but loops back to “new version 3.9.7 available” after refreshing Dashboard.
