I had the same problem too after upgrading to 0.95

I have to remove all the plug-in files plus db.php and advanced-cache.php before my site worked again

After further testing. It seems these changes are totally successful, so would still welcome some advice

to add:-

The From email address also needs to be the same as the one set in Configure SMTP plugin

I believe I have found the cause of the issue

For the CF7 form to work – the Subject field has to be empty!

Any test or fields in the subject cause the “Sender’s message failed to send”

The error message is:-
“Sender’s message failed to send”

I am using the Configure SMTP plugin. Via gmail (smtp.gmail.com)

This will successfully send a test email without error

FIXED

Discovered I need to set the – Calculate Tax Based On option to Shop Base Address. I guess as I was logged in, it knew my address from testing, whereas new customer hadn’t entered an address yet
