Install WP Mail SMTP plugin and check where you mails are faulty.
Add DMARC, DKIM and SPF records for your domain will deliver mails straight to inbox. It will not go to spam anymore.

Manually reinstall WordPress update will fix this issue.

Email verification being sent to previous admin email address.
If you have access to that email and did not received an email then check SMTP mail function is working fine. To check this try some free plugins like WP Mail SMTP.
This will let you know where is the problem with your Email Deliverability.

Update: Bulk selected files can by zipped and downloaded as a zip file. Now available with version 2.0.4 or higher.
