In reply to: [WP Photo Album Plus] New photo upload – photo not displayingHi Jacob,
Well, the update and remake fixed the problem, thank you.
Its interesting to see that most of the photos on the server are 604 and the rest are 644, but all are displaying, so the chmod doesn’t seem to be the key factor.
In fact , before updating I changed the chmod settings on the offending photos and they still did not display.Anyway, thank you for all your help.
Hartig bedankt,

In reply to: [WP Photo Album Plus] New photo upload – photo not displayingHi Jacob,
Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately it didn’t work.
In fact I lost another image.
I followed you suggestion
<You can try this:
Table IV-A18. Due to a bug (what has been selected previously will be done), do the following:
– first select create ‘all access’ .htaccess files
– than select do not change existing .hataccess files>As that didn’t work I deactivated and deleted Wordfence Security in case that was causing the issue.
No change.
Looking at the Chrome console I now get 403 for images 649 and now for image 580.
I’ve tried viewing in Safari and Firefox also.
If I look in the wppa album admin I see that quite a few images are marked as <Source file:Unavailable> but they are still displaying on the site.
I have tried Remake file and Remake thumbnail file and also re-upload. I also deleted photo and then did a fresh add new photo. And I tried uploading a different photo too. All failed. After removing Wordfence Security the base .htaccess file in the root of my install reads
<# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule># END WordPress
The .htaccess file in the wppa folder reads
<<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine Off
</IfModule>
Order Allow,Deny
Allow from all>I can see the permissions for all the photos in my ftp and some are 604 and some are 644.
Can I provide you with other information?
Thanks for your help.
Your sincerely

Hi Ipstenu,
Thanks for your swift email response!
I can access the main site that I created and then i made a new site, but when i try to access the second site i don’t progress to the dashboard when i try and i get a Forbidden 404 when i try to visit site.
I tried several suggested changes to htaccess and wp-config as suggested by the forums.

The site is https://circuscompany.co.uk and you should see what i have tried from there maybe.Hi Robert, your plug-in is great, many thanks.
My question is about the map markers under the map. Is there a way to click on the marker under the map that then brings you to the map ON the map. So when people see the name of the marker they can then see the location.
I’ve tried to make this happen by trying different settings, and i looked through the support and forums for some time, but didn’t find anything. Much thanks for any help.
Yours gratefully,
Jules
