In reply to: [UpdraftCentral Dashboard] Local hosted dashboard: Add site greyed out@david: Since Sirius is a commercial theme I would not like to share it off-hand. Let’s see if you can figure out the problem with the other themes…

In reply to: [UpdraftCentral Dashboard] Local hosted dashboard: Add site greyed outIt’s good to hear that I’m not the only one with this problem. Hopefully they will get this working on all themes or make a simpler dashboard.

In reply to: [UpdraftCentral Dashboard] Local hosted dashboard: Add site greyed outI checked on the other site I have admin access to and it looks like the problem indeed is the conflict between theme and plugin. Since changing the theme is not an option I must do without Updraft Central. At least until I can figure out how to get it working or you implement “plain” dashboard.

In reply to: [Exifography] Incorrectly read camera model@kristarella: the links work ok, if you just remove the last parentheses “)”, which this posting app wronlgy assumes to be part of the address. Anyway, I quess that I’m having the same problem and if the solution is to strip the camera model from Lr export, I’m good.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Exifography] Incorrectly read camera modelJust chiming in as “me too”. And to make things more weird, Sony ILCE-6000 (a.k.a. alpha-6000) does not show either the camera type or the “model”.
My D810 shows “CORPORATION” as the model (check here: https://www.remonen.fi/photoblog/zen-ja-valokuvaus/) and ILCE-6000 does not show anything as camera model (check here: https://www.remonen.fi/photoblog/istanbulassa-helsingissa/). And no, the data is not encrypted, the language is Finnish ??
When inspected in Lr, Nikon has “NIKON CORPORATION” as “Make” and Sony has “SONY”. So, the first word in that field gets discarded and rest of it is used as “Camera” in Exifography. The data in the field “Model” is not used at all (it has the correct info “D810” and “ILCE-6000”).

In reply to: [Exifography] EXIF data not shown on articlesOk, thanks.

In reply to: [Exifography] EXIF data not shown on articlesOk, thanks. Now it works (you can check using the last image).
I suppose I can live with this (specifying the tag manually) but I would prefer the “automatic”-approach. Also it looks like that the plugin does not honor the “Add EXIF to post”-settings, as you suspected.
The functions I was referring to are the “Add EXIF to WP Gallery image” and the sorting function. To be honest, I’m not that familiar with WP internals so I thought that the function (Add EXIF..) would affect all images regardless of their position.

In reply to: [Exifography] EXIF data not shown on articlesOk. First of all: I was under impression that adding the function into the “functions.php” would automatically add the EXIF-data into all images, not just to those I would later select. Why does it work with the images in the blogroll?
Anyway, the problem looks more difficult: I added the shortcode into the image title, but it is still not shown. Somewhere during the publish/render-process the “title” is emptied.
Here’s how the last image data looks in edit:
<a href="https://www.remonen.fi/WP/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/kirja-arvostelu_bw-4.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3534" title="[exif id="3537"]" alt="kirja-arvostelu_bw-4" src="https://www.remonen.fi/WP/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/kirja-arvostelu_bw-4.jpg" width="645" height="800" /></a>
And here’s how it looks after publish:
<p><a href="https://www.remonen.fi/WP/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/kirja-arvostelu_bw-4.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3534" title="" alt="kirja-arvostelu_bw-4" src="https://www.remonen.fi/WP/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/kirja-arvostelu_bw-4.jpg" width="645" height="800" /></a></p>
Regards,
Matti RemonenI tried now with IE9 and IE10 without any success. Could you check from your side with IE?
FF works like a charm now, so the code should be there.
Yes, that’s true. Strange but the main thing is that it works.
Hmmmm… not for IE, though. FireFox works OK, IE does not.
Oh well, at least it is ok from plugin point-of-view, I quess.
Version 7.0.4.8
Now it looks like it works ok.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Theme My Login] [Plugin: Theme My Login] Separate Login vs Profile page@daniele: the format should be: [theme-my-login default_action=”profile” profile_template=”nkt-profile-form.php”]
(notice the quotes)
Anyway, I’m using TML widget in sidebar for login and then separate profile page (with only possibility to change email & pw). It works ok.
