Just a strange development here: Our average rating on Google is now down to 4.7 and NOTHING has changed (we still have the same 55 reviews). Maybe Google made some correction on their end in the last day or two. I wonder if this is happening with other users of your plugin that were experiencing the same issue.

I forgot to include this in my less post: My guess is that you could round twice to accomplish this. So you could first round the unrounded average rating to the hundredths place (in my example above, 4.745454545454545 would be rounded to 4.75). Then round a second time to the tenth place (4.75 would then be rounded to 4.8). Hope this helps!

Thank you for the forum link (it doesn’t really seem like there’s a solution there). Google is a little weird with these average scores and how they round them I think. Please take a look at our businesses’ example and let me know if you come to the same conclusion:

Since we only have 55 reviews, I have been able easily track how these are rounded. Quite frankly, it doesn’t make much sense to me because our average score comes out to 4.745454545454545 (51x 5-star review + 1x 3-star review + 3x 1-star reviews = 261/55 = 4.745454545454545). This number should technically be rounded down to 4.7, but I think Google is trying to help businesses and have come up with a different way of rounding up — please continue reading below.

The rounding up occurred (I believe) after we got our last 5-star review. To put this in perspective, when we had 54 reviews, our average score was 4.740740740740741 (256/54). What I take from this is that they must round up from thousandths place. So our last unrounded average score with 54 review was 4.740740740740741 (rounded to 4.74, then to 4.7) and our new 55-review average score was 4.745454545454545 (rounded to 4.75, then to 4.8). That’s the only conclusion I can draw here that makes sense to me. It’s a little weird way to round but it makes sense from a perspective that they are trying to marginally help businesses somewhat.

I’m not sure if there is a way for you to build in rounding like this (or make it an option), but it could potentially resolve this issue for some people that fits this narrow case.

Thank you for your response. By changing this Product system of record setting from “WooCommerce” to “Do not sync product data”, will it still pass the data of what product(s) were purchased and the WooCommerce order number to Square?

In other words, is the Product system of record settings only intended to sync/update product-specific data (such as the name, price, image, etc.) to Square (and not affect the data that is shared when an order is placed)?

If this is the case, do I ever need to be concerned with manually syncing product data? For example, if the price or name of an item changes, will Square be able to reflect that when viewing transactions on Square’s website? I’m only concerned about mainly the Order Number at least showing on Square’s website so that our bookkeepers can account for which transaction in Square corresponds with which Order Number in WooCommerce.

I have resolved this issue myself. I would like to request that a Moderator to redact the webpage I reference in my first post. We are receiving an increased amount of spam on that contact form since I’ve posted to this forum and I’m hoping that you can help me by removing our URL. Thank you.

I’m really stuck here. I hope that you can provide some guidance as to how I can troubleshoot this since there aren’t any logs that I can enable to debug this. I have combed the internet and forums to see if anyone has had a similar issue but I have not been able to find anything.

Any ideas of what I can try are helpful. If I don’t hear back from you by the end of the week then I will need to find another contact form plugin solution for our company.

I wanted to provide you with another update. I just tested it again and I still cannot get the file attachment to attach after switching to the Twenty Twenty-One theme and deactivating ALL plugins except for Contact Form 7. I tested this with and without Gmail being used as the email server like this. It behaves the same way in that the form email is sent with everything included except for the file attachment.

I have a long list of plugins and my theme is a child theme of Store Front. I have disabled nearly all of the plugins (except for the ones that you’ve recommended such as WordFence, WooCommerce, etc.). Are there any instructions on how I can enable logging of errors and where I can review these logs at? I might be able to provide better information this way.

Please also note that I have made very basic/stripped-down versions of this form and I still have the same issue where everything is sent except for the file attachment does not get attached.

Mail (2) which purposely is setup by me to NOT include the attachment (but instead act as an autoresponder) does send successfully. Its just that the primary Mail does not include the attachment (which it used to for at least a year or two and I haven’t made any changes to this form).

Ok thanks for the reply. I’m happy to help if I can provide you with anymore info. I sent my diagnostic log directly to the plugin author on Thursday night/Friday morning.

I’m getting this same exact error unfortunately. I do not use any facebook-related plugins on my website though. It started happening to me last night. Was there ever a fix for this?

This is affecting our sales tax rates for the state of Texas too. I was going back and noticed we have several sales where we undercharged for sales tax and some very large sales. Please let us know when this bug is fixed.
