That seems to be an incorrect path. Should be public_html/smallbizkaizen.com/wp-content/uploads

You could create a custom page template.
Set a specific page as your home and then give that page a custom page template.
Or you could use a home.php, I don’t go into detail on that because I don’t really know how to work with that.
