i had exactly the same problem.
This helped me:

go to Ultimate Member > Settings > Appearance > Profile Menu
Then make sure “Enable Profile Menu” is checked.

Issue resolved. It was a problem with my custom css code.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Everything works now.

I used

input,
textarea{
    font-weight: bold;
}

and now it works as expected.

In the german Version they should be named “Redakteur (editor), Autor (author), Mitarbeiter (contributor)”

It’s a general issue with all input fields. Is there a way to change the appearance of the textinput object?
