I replaced the fancy_link code with a button code.
I’d appreciate if the plugin author can reply about the existence of fancy_link in this newer version of shortcodes ultimate plugin.

Thank you for the quick reply but it seems that I can’t find the problem here. I used Chrome to see if any error occurs but there is not a single one. I tried disabling all the installed plugins and letting just “Wp Maintenance”. No use. I tried to access the “Settings” on 3 different computers all with different operating systems and different java installed. Nothing helped.
Any idea?

Note: This could be avoided if the plugin had a separate page for “Settings”.

I am using this plugin for at least one and a half years. As you already know, I am activating it rarely, when I really have to take the site offline. Today I had to put site in maintenance and after enabling the plugin (as usual) I can’t access “Settings” for it. When I click, nothing happens [javascript:void(0)]. Is this a bug, but I have the same WordPress version and nothing changed since I last successfully used it.

after half a year I managed to resolve all of the above. nobody helped and was no feedback from anyone from this forum, sadly.
the only problem remained was #3 – the image gallery, and I learned that worpress importer imported thumbs in different dimensions compared to original source. nothing can be done here since it requires me to redo and replace all the thumbs.
well, I thought to write these down since I am sure I’m not the only one in here and maybe this information can help others.

OK, after 3 months I managed to resolve the first 2 issues. I am after the 3rd but I can see no clue as where or how to resolve it.
if someone is reading this, please give a hint, I am clueless.

now let me detail how the first issue was resolved: there is a plugin for that called “Reverse Top Comments”. you just have to install it.
for the 2nd problem the answer is simple: I removed some text and previewed it and removed another piece of text and preview it. That’s it, you just have to be careful and remove just what interest you.
