Okay, do that, simply search out (Ctrl+F) this line <div id="footer" role="contentinfo"> in entire site in your editor like Dreamweaver, it will figure out this file. . . .. ??

Please, open your theme’s footer.php file.

Fiile Path: wp-content/themes/your-theme-name/footer.php

Find out the following line:

<div id="footer" role="contentinfo">
.
<p> ............</p>
.
.
</div>

Just comment out or remove your unwanted text in the above mentioned div in <p> …. </p> tag.

Hi, madamski, simply do that…. Just go to admin->Dashboard->Appearance->Themes and activate Showcase theme. you site will become in required shape.
