I updated PHP to 5.5.38 and updated Cerber to 6.2. The error reoccured.

I’ve updated PHP to 5.6.33 and am watching to see what happens.

I have 5.4.45

I rolled back to an older version of Cerber and no errors have been generated since then.

Perfect. I used the “easy theme and plugin upgrades” plugin to install the zip file without uninstalling the Cerber plugin. Then I uploaded the zip file. The problem is now gone.

For anyone else having this problem, I found the answer. The plugin picks up the CAPTION of the featured image and uses it in the alt tag. So just populate that field and you’ve got filled alt text.

Never mind, I just found it. For anyone else looking for this, the CSS is no longer under “Theme Options”. Instead, it’s in the “customize” area.

What you’re describing, showing the welcome screen for major updates, would be PERFECT!

@wilderbee, I followed @tgschaef’s advice and did this:

If you are having trouble getting mail to send out, turn off “Enable sender information in email footer.” found in Advanced->Advanced Email Settings.

It worked like a charm!

Thanks for the explanation. I was able to remove the login link from the mobile menu. However I agree that it would be nice to have an option to turn this off.

I’ve removed the plugin. I was getting hundreds of broken links as reported by my sitemap software.

Sorry. By doesn’t work I mean it makes a bad link. Here’s an example. The shortlink for https://www.litquotes.com/blog/category/quote-photos/ is https://www.litquotes.com/blog/294 and that link results in a 404 error.
