@mikeicode I have spoken with the guys at Divi and it seems you can’t get complete control of the posts in the same way as you would with a page. A bit disappointing, but now I know it’s not me! Have a great weekend and thank you for your time.

I am trying to do some SEO file size reduction and reducing the size of images seems an easy win. However, when you scale an image, do you need to make a new link to the scaled image from your post or page? Is the image path kept the same? Many thanks.

Thanks Jason. No defiantly no Editor! I have a fairly basic site and just wanted to put my logo above the header and change menu background colour. Any drag and drop design plugins that would to the trick? I am a bit new to messing around with the core files and know that a whiteout can ensue!

I think that is a particular plugin on my site which is broken, but for now I am reverting back to 3.5.2 to get my site up and running, until the plugin developer has fixed the problem.

I have had exactly the same problem. Deactivating the plugins worked for me, but I really need a particular plugin for my site? I tried reinstalling it, but that didn’t work.

Will that not mess up my web site? It is a vacation rental site and I have plugins with all my booking data in.

Thanks for trying to help, but I’m sorry to say that didn’t help. The front end of my site is working fine, but both posts and pages show the error message.

Thanks. I have a theme installed, but every time I make a post it is preceded by date published and author name etc. I just look plan ugly.

Thank you. I am still working on a locally hosted version. I have searched and this seems to be a common problem with wordpress web sites, but I can’t find a definitive answer. There is just a lot of white space to the right of my logo.

Thanks for taking the trouble to respond. I thought it must be a very common question as WordPress by default shows every link on each page in bold text by default. Although my new site is hidden in a sub directory here is the link.

It’s the bold text “Home” in the top left of the page which I am trying to get rid of. As I said in my first post I am new to wordpress and the only answers I could find involved changing the style sheets. So I am trying the find a plugin to help. Many thanks.
