I’m unable to log in to my website.

For some reason, I’m being redirected to mysite/log-in/ and it won’t accept my credentials.

Tried different browsers, different computers, cleared cache..

When I try to log in via mysite/wp-loging.php, mysite/wp-admin/, mysite/login/ etc I’m being directed back to mysite/log-in/ which doesn’t work…

Password reset also fails because the reset password page hangs w/o any reset-password email being ever sent.

Haven’t made any change to my site that could be the cause for this. No Updates, no new installs, nothing.

    Any help is appreciated ??

What you mean is, no updates or installs since the last time you were able to login – right?

Often you can contact your host if their support is good.
Otherwise, login to your host, and hit the database directly and change the username/password etc:

But – if it is already hanging on Lost Password, then login to your host using ftp or cPanel, and delete all the plugin folders under /wp-content/plugins/

    Tnx.. Great.. It helped ??

I was able to login to my cPanel and delete a plugin I thought might be the culprit.

That plugin was User-Avatar (lately renamed to Profile-Press).

Although I only updated it two weeks ago, it turns out that the update only affected the login process today because today was the first time I was required to re-loggin into my site.

This plugin hijacked my old /wp-login.php page.

Once I deleted the plugin’s directory I was able to login using the old /wp-login.php page.

    Problem solved

Once again, Thank you very much
