Yes, I’ve submitted the sitemap.xml a couple of times and both times got “Success – 1259 discovered URLs”. Coverage says “0 pages with errors – 1,050 valid pages”. Performance shows that site is getting impressions.

I post every day and yet there is only 1 article in Google for the entire month of January.

I reported this bug months ago and its still not fixed.

I cut & paste a title from an email and it looks like this:

<strong>X Burlesque “Private Edition” opening at&nbsp;</strong><strong>Flamingo Las Vegas this Thursday, January 7&nbsp;</strong>

All these tags need to be stripped out.

I just want it to stay in whatever position I put it in. Now it’s down a couple notches but it remains wide open instead of staying closed.

This is still broken. Programmers, you need to strip out all ASCII control characters when we paste text into the Title field. Somebody please report this and get it fixed. Thanks.

I’m bringing this up again because it’s still not fixed. Pasting a 2-line title exposes the HTML code and puts the second line down below. You need to strip out carriage returns from the title field.

The people who are testing on test sites aren’t doing a good job. This release has a catastrophic failure – the Widgets page is gone. Who missed that? We need as many people as possible testing these versions.

Also, Gutenberg is up to version 9.1.1 and that should indicate a stable release. It isn’t.

I don’t mind testing on my live site. I backup before I do any testing.

There are many things I like about Gutenberg but when entire WordPress features vanish then I get worried.

I just installed Gutenberg 9.1.1 and again the Widgets page is broken. It says my theme has no widget areas. My theme is Studiopress Magazine Pro 3.3.0 – this was the last version of their flagship theme with widget support before they changed it to an all-block theme.

This means Studiopress has forever ended any possible future upgrade path on this great widget-based Magazine Pro theme. Another dead end for publishers like me who have invested considerable time and money on their themes.

I’m disgusted about all this. It’s like one bad decision after another.

I had to disable Gutenberg 9.1.1 and revert to the current production version.

No, I’m not going add code to functions.php. That is not a solution.

Thanks for posting and absolutely agreed. Clients frequently change product names, company names, slogans, trademarks/copyright symbols and other factors that currently have to be searched/replaced manually. This is required functionality for a text writing system.

Okay, the latest version of the Gutenberg plugin is causing this problem. When I disable the plugin the Widget pages appear normally. So the Gutenberg version shipped with WordPress is okay but not the latest test version.

Well, this is an interesting concept but in starts way too far into the article (about 2400 characters down). You must have some internal setting that determines that value and that’s something we need to be able to configure.

You might want to look at AdRotate which lets us insert ads after a specific number of paragraphs as well as other options.

Site Kit has been showing stats for moviedebuts.com but Google Webmaster recently also starting tracking https://www.moviedebuts.com which is where more traffic is. The best thing would be for me to show combined traffic on Site Kit. Is that possible?
