I have set this up and it’s basically working but with at least one glitch.

I have the alt/text/description showing the text under each image. However, if I set the pagination to a number, when one clicks over to the next set of images using the navigation on the bottom, there is no text under the pics. It works as long as I set the pagination to zero but that makes for a very long page of images for some galleries.

Does anyone know how I might fix this?

I might be misunderstanding you but from the differences in the url’s you posted (what you have vs what you want) it looks to me like what you could do is to make sub-pages/posts.

What you can do is this, make a page/post entitled “watashi” then make a page/post for “episode” then make a page/post for your first episode.

So, your top level page is “watashi” your second level page would be “episode” and all your episodes (1 thru ??? numbers) would be your next level page/post.

Like I said, not sure I’m understanding you but that’s what it looks like to me.

Thanks for the info, I already knew I could use a static front page. I guess I wasn’t clear, sorry. I love the varied posts on the home page that using “Your Latest Posts” gives me. What I would like to do is to display my pages that way on the home page instead of posts. I would like my pages to display as excerpts there instead of my posts.

It would be really nice if they would allow you to use the same email address. If you have more than one site but don’t want additional email addresses you could then use the same email addy for each one. I personally don’t see a common sense reason to require folks to have to get additional email addys. If they want to use the same one that would be much more convenient and appreciated. The more email addresses you have the more spam you get, especially if you set up email addys with freebie sites like yahoo and hotmail and those type of accounts.

When I try this, I get the name of the page/post, not the ID number???

Is there a way to do this with pages instead of posts?

Can any users of the AJAXIFY version tell me if:

1) You have use of the editor for questions and/or answers?

2) If the backend will “read” code such as <!–nextpage–> and show the page breaks? I tried the free version no AJAX and these do not work in the answer pages.

3) In the AJAX version, the backend also would not “read” internal links created by RB-Internal Links. The code:

<!–intlink id=”226″ type=”post” text=”link text here”–>

shows up in the admin/backend, but on the front end both “link text here” and the associated link are gone leaving what appears to be unfinished sentences, blank spaces and missing links.

I just finished removing all the original FAQ-Tastic pages I created because of these issues and THEN found this thread. I would prefer at this point to know if the same thing is going to happen before I try putting it back together. Thanks.
