I think I just found the problem. I was using the Firefox browser. Tried IE and on the bottom of IE a message pops up “Only Secure Content is Displayed” when I click on “Show All Content” the page refreshes and the faded issue is gone, the page looks like it’s supposed to.

So, it seems to have something to do with the secure content in the store area of the site. I don’t know why it doesn’t display a similar message in Firefox, though.

Then why do all the admins I have say “Get version X” in the lower right corner if it’s already running the version it’s telling me to get in the example you gave?

I made the font bigger via adding to my css file which helped the title show up more, changed the link color as well. You can do a lot with css to make things look the way you want them to.

I’m having the same problem. I’ve tried adding the pagination on shortcode as well like the OP did. Lots of posts so I need this to work ASAP please and thank you.

UPDATE: For anyone else experiencing this — looks like I fixed it.

I ftp’d in, renamed the plugins *folder* to pluginsBAK momentarily. Clicked in the admin over to the plugins page where it then showed all plugins had been disabled. I then went back to the ftp, renamed pluginsBAK back to plugins, went back to the plugins page in the admin, refreshed the page and reactivated the plugins *excluding* the two mentioned above that I wanted gone. I was then able to delete them and all seems well.

Not to upset anyone but what worked in my case was doing a manual upgrade following the official WP manual upgrade instructions.

esmi – I’m confused. What did I interrupt? It’s common practice that I know of to join someone’s thread who’s having the same problem as long as you don’t hijack the topic which I did not do.

Really freaky – it worked. Also must be a Firefox thing because when you mentioned this I checked 2 other browsers and this wasn’t happening in Chrome or Opera. Thank you!

I’m having the same problem. I know it’s got to be WP because it’s the only run running the newest version. I was going to upgrade the rest of them soon but now … I don’t think so!

I think I’m going hunting for how to downgrade to the previous version. This is crazy, I just spent nearly an hour spinning my wheels.
