In reply to: pixel.wp.com causing slow loading timeHave you tried deactivating plugins one by one or another theme to isolate the problem?
By the way, I have Site Stats turned off in JetPack. Several other forums mention that as a problem. I use WP Slimstat Analytics plugin for stats.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Can't delete mobile device html cache entriesSince I cannot delete individual mobile device cache pages, I delete all cache pages manually if I want to delete a mobile cache page.
This is an issue when I am writing a new blog post or new web page and I publish several draft revisions before the final version. I don’t want the cache to keep the draft version.

In reply to: pixel.wp.com causing slow loading timeYes, I run Jetpack with no problems. Because of the high CPU problems I saw from time to time with Firefox, I have switched to Chrome.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] [Plugin: WP SuperCache] Preload may have stalledI got this message twice overnight at 2 am and 3:30 am for the first time. I do not have Preload turned on, so I should not see any messages about Preload stalling and restarting.
Otherwise, WP SuperCache is working OK.

In reply to: [Testimonials Widget] Can't remove Review schema markup noticeI am also seeing this problem. Running latest WP 4.5.3, latest WP SuperCache 1.4.8. on latest Schema Theme 3.1.0. Chrome browser.
I would like the option to auto-delete a page in cache when it is updated so that users do not receive stale data and do not have to wait until expiration.
I do not want to clear all of cache (cache flush) because only one page was updated.
I am using PHP mode and have cache pre-load turned off. “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated” is turned off. When I update a page, I manually delete that page from the cache. But I would like the option for this to be automatic.

In reply to: pixel.wp.com causing slow loading timeBecause Firefox sometimes ends up in a state consuming a high % of CPU time, I have switched to the Chrome browser and have not seen this problem since.

In reply to: pixel.wp.com causing slow loading timeProblem solved. I first deactivated Jetpack but that did not solve the problem. I then noticed in Windows Task Manager that Firefox was consuming a high % of CPU time. I closed Firefox and rebooted my computer for a fresh start.
I logged back into my WordPress site and tried to re-activate Jetpack, but I got an error: Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: token_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.
I searched Google for a solution to this error, and it required installing the Core Control plugin and temporarily under ‘Manage Transports’ finding ‘cURL’ and clicking ‘Disable Transport’. Then activate Jetpack and operation is fast and normal again. Then in Core Control, re-Enable Transport for cURL.
I followed the instructions at https://www.tpateman.co.uk/reboot/error-activating-jetpack-plugin/ Be careful using Core Control.

In reply to: pixel.wp.com causing slow loading timeUsing the Inspector feature in Firefox to view Network activity, I see that when trying to GET a file named boom.gif from pixel.wp.com it repeatedly gets a status of 204, “No Content”. It previously does a GET of file g.gif from pixel.wp.com successfully, which is a tiny 6×5 smiley face. Jetpack is enabled.
I will try turning off some Jetpack modules. I had problems last month with Jetpack causing white screen, fixed by version 4.02.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Can not define focus keywords with special charactersI have a hyphen/dash – in my focus keyword. The keyword is detected correctly in the page title, meta description and URL, but not in the keyword density. It shows keyword density is 0%, which is incorrect.
