In reply to: [Autoptimize] Google Font display swapIt helps a lot! Many thanks!
Thank you very much.
Yes, the test was made with the last version of ShortPixel. Please contact us directly mentioning this ticket. We’d need temporary admin access to investigate your case and figure out what is going on.
I did that yesterday and I’m currently waiting for the feedback of one of your team members (Crossing fingers !)
According to his upcoming answer, I will add something here (solution, conclusion or questions…)
Keep in touch, have a nice day ??
Whoops! Posted in the wrong forum (I meant “ShortPixel Image Optimizer”, not “ShortPixel Adaptative Images”), sorry for that :-/

In reply to: [Breadcrumb NavXT] Pluggin broken since 5.2Thanks a lot for your help @mtekk !
Problem solved here. I confirm it was due to another plugin ??I had the error message mentioned above, which didn’t affect the way breadcrumbs were displayed on my site, but caused the WP dashboard not to display “All” and “Active” plugins lists (same problem as the user here: https://github.com/mtekk/Breadcrumb-NavXT/issues/218)
Deactivating/Activating other plugins one per one permitted to solve both issues (error message + missing lists): the problematic plugin was “WP Editor”: a plugin not updated since a very long time.

Hi! Thanks a lot for the great plugin ??
I have exactly the same problem, but with CF7 forms.
Should the problem be solved with similar code elsewhere inside anr-captcha-class.php ?

In reply to: [Email Address Encoder] emails uncrypted in metas (YOAST settings…)Let’s say it is resolved ??

In reply to: [Email Address Encoder] emails uncrypted in metas (YOAST settings…)Hello Till,
Here is the answer from the free YOAST support, which clarified my concerns:Yoast is not capable of encrypting email addresses that you use in the meta description. If you are concerned that a spam bot may harvest an email address you used in your meta description we would recommend not including the email there.
Wherease many spam bots are looking for mailto: tags to find email addresses, we unfortunately cannot anticipate what amount of page data a bot uses to find new email addresses.
In conclusion:
– Yoast do not encrypt email addresses in the meta descriptions
– mailto: tags are the major spam factor and mentionning only the email adresses (“***@***.**”) is not as risky, but not 100% sure either.
Do you agree? Thanks a lot for your support/time and for this great plugin.
‘Just tried the [encode][/encode] shortcode feature in order to encode “tel:” links and it works well too. You may want to communicate more on this feature too, don’t you?Have a nice day ??

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Can meta descriptions and og descriptions be seen by Spam bots?Thank you devnihil,
It is much clearer now ??The “mailto” tag IS the major risk factor, even if writing “***@***.**” in meta descriptions isn’t 100% safe.
That makes a lot of sense.
Thanks for the fast support.

In reply to: [Email Address Encoder] emails uncrypted in metas (YOAST settings…)Thanks a lot for your answer,
Do you mean the PRO version of Yoast encodes email addresses in meta tags by itself or that it let EAEncoder do such job?
I just had a look at Yoast Pro features and didn’t find such info, nor in Yoast docs and forums…Cheers

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Can meta descriptions and og descriptions be seen by Spam bots?Thank you Micheal,
So this is an issue, right?
Are you saying that these email addresses should be encrypted by Yoast by default?Looks like ‘Email Address Encoder’ plugin author may have the same opinion, at least regarding the Pro version of YOAST:

Mhh, that’s hard to know. I’m working on a PRO version of this plugin that encodes email addresses in meta tags. When deactivating Email Address Encoder, the emails adresses are still visible in theses 3 metas.
THX!
