Great experience so far

This plugin has been great for accepting cryptocurrency payments in my small store. Payments directly to your wallet without unnecessary commissions, APIs, settings and external scripts that add bloat to the plugin, slowing your website. This is something very valuable because page speed is essential.

It is a pity this plugin is not yet popular (maybe because most people don’t perceive its advantages well enough) but if you don’t have huge numbers of sells is more than enough. I’ve had fake payments which the plugin identified immediately, putting the order on hold. I’m a beginner in cryptocurrency and I’ve read is more secure to run your own node or use a middleman to avoid these fake transactions but for now it seems this plugin is capable of detecting them without problems. Apart from the own blockchain that does not validate these types of transactions.

Things I’d ask of this plugin would be an additional step where Woocommerce cannot register the sale until there’s payment confirmation so stats aren’t affected by these fake payments.

Also support for BTC Lightning and Segwit Bech32 that I’ve heard has lower fees and is even harder to make fake transactions but at least Native Segwit is on the works by what I’ve seen in the author’s website. Being a newbie I don’t know if it’s possible to make a fake deposit to your wallet, in my experience, this fake transaction was detected without problems by this plugin.

Imo all these other cryptocurrency plugins that promote themselves justifying the need of a middleman to add security to transactions are deceptive since the blockchain adds all the security to your transactions. Perhaps this is the weak point of Nomiddleman’s plugin and the reason why so few people have installed it yet: educating the users on why they don’t need a middleman, sucking their income for a false sensation of security, and the advantages of the blockchain.
