In reply to: Invisible: social media links footer ???Outch! I found the bug.
Yes, I moved a page from one host to another with different domains. But that wasn’t the issue.
It simply happened that I’ve also updated my plugins after the move. One of them overwrote the class .screen-reader-text with an !important statement of the positioning. That just broke it.
So, you were almost right @jacob. But the CSS was just overwritten after an update of the The-Events-Calendar plugin.
Sometimes I get lost in WordPress’s backstage activities. Thanks for helping!
Cheers

In reply to: Invisible: social media links footer ???no, I am sorry @girlieworks. I don’t want the page to be findable by google occuring in this thread. as you can see in a ton of other threads, there is not necessarily always a link to the page.
however, I’d be very grateful if you were able to help me. otherwise I would like to please other who might know a solution to give me an advise why this this messed up.

In reply to: [CYAN Backup] wp-admin Access Denied! after backupThe front end? Yes.
It maybe belongs to the little struggle we, the hosting guy and I, are experiencing now.
I had to remove the site from his webspace account without against his agreement. But it’s alright, I am working for the site’s owner. That owner broke with the tech guy and so I had to get his site.
Only he has access to the server logs. Anyway, I backed it up beofre with your total backup. it’s okay. It was just missing uploads but I have them as well from a site-sucker backup.
Thanks anyway. Have a nice day ??
Hi Peter,
thank you a lot for patience once more. Well, I’ve lost mine with my hoster and cancelled the contract. Fortunately the new one where I’ve signed up supports the required OAuth library without a problem, and is more propper overall. I could test the ride on a test account. As soon as my blog would generate income I would donate to your plugin. Thank you.
Thank you Peter,
I contacted my hosting provider and he simply changed the safe mode of ../php5/php.ini on my server space to safe_mode off. Well, but now this error log doesn’t let me pass to my wished SEO plugin:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method OAuthUtil::parse_parameters() in ../wp/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/aioseop_class.php on line 1605
My sysadmin by that way asks me for what the plugin would need so he could fix that. But I don’t know. What does the plugin need? How can the problem be solved finally?
