In reply to: [Shopp Cache Helper] [Plugin: Shopp Cache Helper] Fatal error upon activationI’m having same problem. This fixed it. Thanks so much!!!
For anyone else having issues, I found that in order for the thumbnails to display, you do need to specify a height and width for the slideshow itself.

In reply to: [Simple Facebook Connect] – call to like button not workingI can get it work fine on single.php. It’s on the custom page that is collating the blog entries from a few different categories that is showing the Client Server text instead of the Like button.

In reply to: Hacked By Magic Include Shell 3.3.3Another security tip: Do NOT download WordPress themes found via an Internet search (ie some site other than www.remarpro.com). I did that and one of them had the Magic Include Shell hack in the comments.php file. So, if you are having issues with Magic Include Shell, you may have it in your theme files, so be sure to search on those files for those words. No one seems to mention this has a potential source of the attack. You may have uploaded your theme two years ago, then the hacker finally discovers that you have left the backdoor open for them and starts to exploit it.
Okay, here’s how it works:
If you want to UNCHECK “The album will not link to a gallery subpage” option, you need to go to Manage Galleries and open the gallery and add a subpage and assign that gallery to that page. The gallery will not actually display on that page, but clicking the gallery in the album link will open that page. If you have NOT set a page in Manage Galleries, then nothing happens when you click the Gallery.
If you CHECK “The album will not link to a gallery subpage,” the gallery will display on the same page rather than open the page specified in Manage Galleries. However, as others have observed, there is not a “back to album” link, though there are some blog posts on how to do this, such as https://www.calvinshub.com/2010/04/how-to-add-a-back-to-album-link-in-nextgen-gallery/ – read comments.
I find that anytime I make ANY changes to any WordPress Dashboard settings, the checkboxes become unchecked.

In reply to: LinkedIn and WordPress RSSI am having same problem. My two sites’ feeds validate just fine with validator. Very annoying. Same thing is happening to a client on one of her sites but not the other.

In reply to: [Plugin: Global Flash Galleries] DON’T BUY!@olegshs – the commercial version with version 0.6.8 is working fine. You have to install both folders in the plugins directory. However, don’t upgrade to 0.7.1 because it is not working.

In reply to: [Plugin: Flexi Pages Widget] Author has gone?He appears to be still there. Maybe the site was down temporarily:

I just sent an email to Srini about the problems with the page ordering and indented hierarchy in v 1.6 and WP 2.9.1.

In reply to: WP site not sending Notification emails or Form submissionsNot sure if this will be helpful, but I also am running 2.9.1 on two of sites as well as cforms. I was using cforms 10.4.1 on one of the sites, and today my email address associated with the cform exceeded GoDaddy’s smtp relay limit (“Sorry, over your daily relay limit”). When I called GoDaddy, they confirmed that that account did indeed exceed it’s relay limits (250), but I had only sent a dozen emails as far as I was concerned.
The other site is running 2.9.1 and cforms 11.1 and is not having any issues. Something definitely “hacked” something to send me over the limit.

In reply to: Weird [function.curl-setopt] after upgrading to 2.9I was having issue with Google XML Sitemap not updating for the first time a week ago, but we were still using 2.8.4. We had never had problems prior to last week with Google XML Sitemap. I’m wondering if it has to do with the version of Google XML Sitemap, as I had just upgraded that but not WP yet.

In reply to: Login problems after being hackedI’m curious, who is your host?
I had a friend whose client on hostmonster.com got hacked on Friday, and my client on Network Solutions got hacked yesterday.
We both had taken many security precautions.
What version of WP were you on? What does your web host have to say about what may have been at fault? My hacker did not change the admin username or pw. They simply placed many index.php.BAD files in every directory, so it’s still a mystery now what exactly the vulnerability was.

In reply to: WordPress 2.8.4 getting hacked? My site also hacked. The link above to Gumblar Family Virus Removal Tool creates a very weird file on my system with strange byte size, and I can’t upload. Not sure what that’s about.
I also had several index.php.BAD files. Can’t find anything on the net about this right now.
