In reply to: Fish Tank SuppliesHeh, it’s feeding a different banner image then.

There are vague balloon shaped bubbles in the center.

In reply to: Fish Tank SuppliesI want some of what you’re smoking. ??
Nope, I’m using FF3 as well, and no pink and yellow balloons.
But now I’m really curious.

In reply to: Fish Tank SuppliesBut do you see dead people?
Are we talking about the big balloon-shaped bubbles in the center-background of the header image?

In reply to: I need help -am overwhelmedAccording to the link to the Fluid Blue theme in your footer:
https://srinig.com/wordpress/themes/fluid-blue/
The theme is widget ready. Use a Text widget and add code that links to an image, perhaps using the [img] tag.
Ironically, the theme’s site touts it as being “graphics free”.

That was shortly after we’d moved in, not enough time to clutter it up. It can get skanky. Plus it’s a tight shot in a relatively large room, so you know, artistic license when framing the shot and all.

Absolutely it’s real – 90 gallons with all the ‘toys’ for plants.

In reply to: Where are the google ads coming from?Cool, glad you worked it out.
I’m finding that WP is a case of apparent complexity that gives way to elegant simplicity if you are just willing to accept it for what it is. Which is pretty much the way all software works. Become One with The Borg and all will be well. Except that every program thinks it’s the One True Borg. ;-/
A useless post just to see why gravatars haven’t updated.
Nothing to see here, move along…
Edit: Well that didn’t work. I suppose these things take time.
Back in the olden days, people kept valuable information in safety deposit boxes.
No they didn’t. In the olden days, valuable information was kept under the mattress. Or out in the shed. Or buried in the backyard…with all the bodies.

In reply to: Where are the google ads coming from?When I looked at your site, there’s a google ad right after the second post. Viewing the page source at that location:
<p>Rest in peace Bozo, I love you.</p></div>
<div class=”blogger-post-footer”><script type=”text/javascript”><!–
google_ad_client = “pub-2136462983264889”;
/* 468×60, created 2/28/08 */
google_ad_slot = “7951612587”;
google_ad_width = 468;
google_ad_height = 60;
// –></script>
<script src=”https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js” type=”text/javascript”></script></div>
<div class=”clear”></div>So there it is. Look in Design>Theme Editor and any of the common page templates (Single Post – single.php for example) to see if it’s in there directly. It may also be a Function that is being called into those page templates.

In reply to: how to change sidebar width?If you are using Firefox there is an add-on called Firebug that will show you how a page is constructed. You can use it on your own page to see what sections are affected by which part of the CSS.

In reply to: How Do I Remove the Meta on My WP?If you aren’t comfortable editing code, you might also try this:
In Admin>Design>Widgets see if the widget can be removed. If it says you aren’t using any widgets, try adding one. Some themes come with a default set of widgets in the sidebar, and adding any will replace them all.
If your theme uses widgets, you can just copy the Adsense code into a text widget. Be sure your sidebar is wide enough to accept the ad size that you picked.
