    James, I’ll mark this resolved in this area. If possible, can you delete this topic? Thank you!

    Thank you for looking at this, James. I don’t think they are going to be able to help. They completely changed the WP e-commerce plugin at 3.8. I deleted the

    Adding if (typeof button.id !== 'undefined') {
      // Now we know that button.id is defined, we are good to go.
    }

    from the plugin’s admin.js file and the store categories (group) page righted itself.

    The clean install without any edits returns these initial errors on the store edit page:

    Would the plugin files begin to fail to function as the WordPress files are revised to new standards? I understand that WordPress is backwards compatible, so am guessing the plugin files that worked with it at one time are not meeting those standards?

    I just noticed the same situation this a.m. June 15, 2012. Manually updating the sitemap brought up an error from ask.com “Notice: Undefined index: HTTPS in . . . .” I deactivated the sitemap plugins, https plugins, and WP 3 Total Cache, reactivated all. ask.com does not update and the error message is the same as delower is receiving, with info. below:

    Notice: WP HTTP API Web Request failed: Could not open handle for fopen() to https://submissions.ask.com/ping?sitemap=. . .
