In reply to: [AyeCode Connect] Error 401Ok, done.
Thank you – we managed to solve this issue. The problem was the ‘default’ date was pre-picked and wouldn’t allow user to pick a new date.

In reply to: [Pods - Custom Content Types and Fields] Hide fields on front-endHi @pdclark,
Can you tell me where exactly I should place this code and also – what is the purpose of the code? Will it solve my issue?
Thanks.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] from email dont work wellThis problem has started to occur to a client of ours too. They have received an enquiry where the sender’s email is the site email, ie. ‘[email protected]’. Only started happening after update to latest WordPress.
We have noticed this error too. Any answer yet from the developer?
Thank you – the scan proceeded as normal.

In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] File renaming and CloudflareWe don’t use Cloudflare for hosting either – we just run our DNS through it and use their free SSL cert for the site.

In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] File renaming and CloudflareHi,
We are having the exact same issue. I started using the plugin today and as the OP describes in their post, when I try to bulk-update files the spinning dots appear and then nothing. I refresh after a while but only the first file has been renamed. We are also developing on a staging site and use Cloudflare for both staging and live.

In reply to: Corner links / corner navigationHi Joy,
You make some excellent points about accessibility. We are hoping to use two or three corner-links for quick access to specific areas within the site. We are also using a menu which will contain all links in it. It just means we’re giving users choice, which is good. And the corner links are a design feature. As such it’s not for everyone. As for separate mobile pages – it’s more to ensure the layout is as close to what we want to achieve. Most themes today are perfectly responsive but I feel they are not built for mobiles, ie. the design is sold using the desktop version only and the mobile version tends to be an afterthought. We’re building the site desktop-first (as that’s where client’s majority of visitors are using) but we want to ensure that the mobile experience is as good as the desktop. In my opinion, most themes don’t do this very well.
Thanks.

In reply to: Corner links / corner navigationHi Joy,
Thanks again for your input – much appreciated. If I’m understanding you correctly – this would be a simple enough feature/function to add using CSS to any theme? As for your caution – I’m planning on designing specific mobile-only pages so this functionality won’t be included on those pages.
Thanks.

In reply to: Corner links / corner navigationHi Joy,
Thank you for your reply. Perhaps I should have been clearer – yes the Divi theme gives this feature/functionality but I don’t necessarily want to go with that theme. So I’m wondering if there are other themes or plugins that offer this functionality? As for CSS classes – I am not a coder myself so would prefer to fuse a theme or plugin with the functionality built-in.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Change colour of error messagesThis is something we’d like to know as well. Currently, when an error is detected (for example no @ symbol in email address) we get the message ‘One of more fields have an error. Please check and try again’. This is displayed in a yellow/gold coloured box with an exclamation mark in front. The colour is not part of our brand and we would like to style it so that it closer matches our brand.

In reply to: Hacked site – problem getting it back up again. Thanks everyone for your input. Yesterday I managed to get hold of the support team at my hosting company and they reset the Apache permissions on our server. That seem to have set everything right!

In reply to: Hacked site – problem getting it back up again. The Revslider plug-in seem a likely source of the ‘hack’. I have since updated all plugin’s to the latest versions and purchased new licences (not sure if the original versions had licences). However, the site is still getting the 403 error codes and images aren’t loading. I have checked all permissions and they’re set to 644 for individual image files and 755 for folders/directories. Would my best bet be to do a fresh install on a new database and import the content?
