how do i do this?

i’m not sure i’m experienced enough for this, i know next to nothing about these matters and cant afford to loose everything, can it be dobne remotely by someone who really knows what they are doing?

I think i have deactivated the plugins (but i’m really no expert in these matters)

I opened filezilla, and on the right side it says “remote site” i clicked wp-content and then renamed plugins to plugins.deactivate, and got the following message in the status area (is this the correct method)

Retrieving directory listing of “/wsb6437744901/wp-content/plugins”…
Status: Directory listing of “/wsb6437744901/wp-content/plugins” successful
Status: Renaming ‘/wsb6437744901/wp-content/plugins’ to ‘/wsb6437744901/wp-content/plugins.deactivate’
Status: Retrieving directory listing of “/wsb6437744901/wp-content”…
Status: Directory listing of “/wsb6437744901/wp-content” successful

then went to my dashboard to log in and got the same error.

I then renamed the themes folder and got the same error, then tried renaming fruitful (my current theme) and still got the same error. The website itself is working fine and we are receiving orders etc, but getting desperate now as we are on tv next week and need to add new product to the site.

thanks for that Tara, but i really have no idea about this, like i said it took me weeks to even build the site

how do i “Login to your WordPress administration plugins page (/wp-admin/plugins.php) – this will disable any plugin that is “missing”.

can this be fixed remotely or is it possible to undo the update as it was all working fine previously,

Many thanks for the reply, but i am a complete novice whenit comes to this (took me forever to build the site) deleted all my browser caches etc but still no joy, i really have no idea about php etc (im only a plasterer)

I think this may be beyond my level of expertise, i only have a basic knowledge of this subject

we run a craft supply company so the content is basically the same (product etc) but the layout, theme and design is totally different

My current site is live and is is hosted by 1 2 1.com. I now need to replace this site with the new one i have built, the domain name is staying the same, i hope this information helps.

Hi Muhammad, i have finished building my new site. I know need to take the old website offline and replace it with the new one. The old website was a wordpress site and is hosted by 121. Any advice would be much appreciated.
