Any reason why a background image couldn’t have it’s entirety as a link?

In reply to: [Simple Full Screen Background Image] Could be more helpfulGood luck!
Personally, I don’t think any plugin or theme has very good descriptions or docs to go along with it. (They could sell soooooooo many more licenses if they would just take the time to write well-written documentation.)Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Revision Control] Used to be good but now broken and unsupported@aitpro,
Thanks. We aren’t seeing any issues so far.Forum: Requests and Feedback
In reply to: History of Plugin Updates@markrh,
Archaic.
That’s why I’m calling for a log that can be compared by a script or SQL query.
Who has time to check each and every plugin one-at-a-time???Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions] What is meant by 'transients'?Yes, thank you, it does clarify.

In reply to: [Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions] What is meant by 'transients'?Also, in doing the settings, if the checkbox for ‘Delete all spanned items’ is checked, does that mean all the posts or pages that have been spammed are deleted, or does it mean only the spam comment is deleted???
Thanks.

In reply to: [Revision Control] Used to be good but now broken and unsupportedI’m seeing a revision date of 1/3/2015.
Not sure how that fits in with your post…..Forum: Requests and Feedback
In reply to: History of Plugin UpdatesAnd I think you misunderstood my intent.
The feature I am suggesting would be wrt to Plugin section viewable in the WP dashboard. I.E, the admin of the site would be able to look at his/her Plugin listings and see when each plugin had been updated on that specific site; not when the plugin had been updated by the author.Forum: Requests and Feedback
In reply to: History of Plugin UpdatesThat’s nice, but as you stated, it is far from complete and practiced. That is why I am suggesting a new feature.
@greg,
Thanks for the clarification.@camu,
What is “Slimstats”? I haven’t seen that term used before. Is it another name for this plugin??I’ve found that GA doesn’t track everything. We use it only as a backup to check ‘trends’. If one analytics package (we use four of them) shows a trend, up, down, static, et al, we check the others for coincidence. GA is not our benchmark. We find this plugin to be very useful. This one and Wordfence.
Why do you give a plugin a poor rating knowing your problem has nothing to do with it. They tell you upfront that you need a specific version of php.
There are many of us who depend on ratings for accurate information. Your entry cost us time.Did you file a ticket, or just automatically jump to giving the plugin a bad rating?

In reply to: [WP Statistics - The Most Popular Privacy-Friendly Analytics Plugin] PHP 5.3So, why would you down-rate a plug-ion because you don’t know how to do something? The plugin works great.
BTW, if you don’t know how to do something as simply as upgrading php (which all you have to do is call your hosting service and ask them to perform the upgrade….) maybe you need to take the time to learn how to develop websites before you try doing so.
Please go back and change your one-star rating or delete it. It’s you who deserves the one-star rating, not the plug-in.
