My WordPress settings are standard Dutch (= informal = je) and that is exactly what I want. However, the cookie policy generated by Complianz is using formal Dutch (= u). Ie: “U heeft de volgende rechten met betrekking tot uw persoonsgegevens:”

So I guess the default WordPress language files are not ‘correct’ yet?

Wow, that is some unexpected behaviour from Elementor… I am not really sure if I understand why this is necessary then. I am not using any Popups on that site at all. Strange. Anyway it is better to have too many information on the cookies pages than too little. If it would be the only cookie to need consent I would want to delete it completely…

Re. iThemes. As far as I know iThemes Security will only block the url for the standard wp-login page and gives access to admin through a “url/choose-your-own-name”. So basically this url is only known by the owner/admin of the website. In this way it is made very difficult for ‘people with malicious intent’ to access the login page. Obviously iThemes Security stores a cookie for that. I assume they will be able to tell what type of cookie this exactly is. Perhaps this is an admin cookie – like the Elementor cookie? I understand you will investigate this. Is it possible you’ll inform me when you have the outcome?

Re. Elementor. With your instructions I was able to hide the Elementor notice in the cookie policy. Happy ??

This setting is checked, yes.

Very strange… I created a ClientAdmin account for myself a while ago (for checking purposes). When I login with that account I can see the menu items that I selected and therefore need to see.

However, when I am logged in as administrator and I look in all users, my ClientAdmin account has role administrator and my customer (who should have ClientAdmin role) has role editor. Not in the user overview nor in a single user I can change this to ClientAdmin role.

Please advise.

Thanks for your reply. Maybe I haven’t been completely clear, I am not talking about the styling (font size et cetera). I meant the fact that the H1 and H2 are obviously both taken from the events title inserted in a single event. So you get:

1. H1: Mindfulness voor Beginners woensdagochtend Best
2. H2: Mindfulness voor Beginners woensdagochtend Best

Apart from the fact that it doesn’t seem very logic to have the H1 and H2 read the same text, we would like the H1 to read something like “Activiteiten”. This seems more logic. Then we would get:

1. H1: Activiteiten
2. H2: Mindfulness voor Beginners woensdagochtend Best

Apart from the more logical H1 and H2, that would also help solving the issue of way too long H1’s for events on the site…

Can you help me to achieve that?

in style.css. Preferably in the styles.css of your child theme or in any option of the theme for extra CSS to avoid loss of style after a future update of wp/plugin. That should improve a lot.

Maybe for 3. this explanation about “Acceptance as validation” is what you’re looking for?

I’ve checked and indeed when I use Firefox Developer edition (is in EN), I get the English message and when I use a browser in Dutch I get the message in Dutch.

Normally however, I would expect that the language for messages would be taken from the site’s language set in WordPress…

In fact all other messages that I’ve seen so far (success message for example) are in Dutch as translated in the plugin.

Sounds a little bit strange…

The last time the plugin has been updated is 5 months ago. I expect new spam requires new filters!
