I have also done that and still did not work. I tried other themes, and deactivated all plugins and activated one by one, increased PHP, still not working.

I am using wordpress and Elementor for this. Woocommerce options to add to the page is also not reflecting when wanting to add product list etc.

I have managed to solve this via CSS route, thank you.

I managed to fix this via Chrome’s developer tools option, however I do not know how to save these edits done on the developer tool’s option, if I can be informed how to save these CSS changes on there I can resolve the issue.

I have tried it both ways and still reflects the same.

this is the backend, I want the list of categories to reflect like this and not like the first image as one straight line.

Also,
1. How or where do I change the color of these categories?
2. also, how to I let the category list start from a specific parent category and not reflect all of the categories?
