The update crashed my site.

It is now uninstalled and a less hungry plugin is doing the simple job that I need.

Having read “why you change this plugin” I have decided I do not need any “extra” features so I have uninstalled your plugin and found a smaller solution.

Thank you for your reply. I decided to go through all the settings to make sure I understood exactly what I was doing. I don’t actually remember changing anything, but when I checked again, the problem was resolved.

I was puzzled before and am even more so now. At this moment, I am leaving it alone.

Just checked. The alignment was set to centred. Setting the alignment to left solves the problem.

Why are the icons not centred within the widget area?

I had exactly the same problem, clearly there was a leak.

In my case, the leak was via the xmlrpc.php file.

I installed Disable XML-RPC

3000 login attempts the night before – zero in the 3 weeks since.

I have the same problem. user registration is not allowed. New login is 20 character random string.

How is this being detected?

After I posted my reply above, I returned to my admin page to see that there was an update available for Ultimate Member.

The changelog included:
Fixed: bug with changing user role and status in backend

I crossed my fingers and updated. All still working fine, so looks like they have got it sorted.
