Thank you for letting us know about this! I have passed this on to our developers and they should take a look at it soon!

I looked at your website and can see what you’re talking about. Though it doesn’t look like your page is loading the Buzzsprout player at all. On the desktop site the main section just loads indefinitely and the Buzzsprout player isn’t loaded.

When I looked on mobile the top section loaded and then the Buzzsprout player was able to load. Can you try turning off the top section of that page to see if that allows the Buzzsprout player to fully load on the desktop version?

If that works then I think the issue is that the top section of the site is what is slowing down the page.

I have pushed an update 1.2.6 that should resolve this issue! Update your plugin and you should be all set!

Are you on the latest version of the plugin 1.2.5? Also could you provide some episode IDs that are not working, or let me know what your podcast ID/Name is so I can test?

Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to write us. I’d be happy to help you with this.

You are correct that we don’t have that functionality in our WordPress plugin; with the plug you are only able to embed the individual podcast episodes on to the page.

However, you are still able to use all of our embed players. You’ll just have to use the complete embed script from your Buzzsprout account. That way you’d be able to make a lot more modifications to the player and the episodes it displayers. In fact, we’re getting ready to release a fully customizable player to all our Buzzsprout accounts. It should be out later this summer.

If you like the player on the St. Peter’s Church site then you’ll love our new customizable player. They are using our beta player, which is really similar to what the final product will look like. The main difference is that the new player will have a lot more customization options.
